WARRANTY

Unless specified in the individual product’s warranty, such as for precious stones and natural stones, Karamay Oster International Corporation, “Karamay”, will provide residential customers in the United States of America for its Karamaystone® brand of Quartz products the coverage of 25 years of limited warranty from its original date of installation by certified Karamaystone® installers in your residential home. The warranty applies to failures due to a defect in materials and/or manufacturing workmanship. The option to repair or to replace the materials at the equivalent level of product, style, shade, pattern, and color is at the sole discretion of Karamay.

TERMS and CONDITIONS:

Within thirty (30) days of completion of product installation, you must register your Karamaystone® product online to activate the 25 years of limited warranty coverage. At the same time of successful registration, you will receive a lifetime membership, news, and members-only discounts. For those customers who did not register their product online, you will be given three (3) years of limited warranty provided that you have the original invoice and/or receipt from purchase.

What is covered under this limited warranty

  1. This warranty applies only to the Karamaystone® brand of Quartz products. For other brands of products carried by Karamay, please refer to the individual brand’s warranty.
  2. This warranty applies only to the product at its original installed location that has not been moved or reinstalled thereafter.
  3. To receive faster services under this warranty, you may contact Karamay directly at xxx-xxx-xxxx within 30 days of the failure of Karamaystone® Quartz products.

What is not covered under this limited warranty

  1. This warranty does not apply to materials and/or services that have not been paid in full.
  2. This warranty does not apply to “change of mind due to style, shade, pattern, color, etc.” after the order of the product had been confirmed and customized.
  3. This warranty does not cover user damages, improper usage, or abuse.
  4. This warranty does not cover seam appearance or performance.
  5. This warranty does not cover damages due to thermal shock from the use of crock pots, skillets, or other hot items placed directly on the Karamaystone®
  6. This warranty does not cover any variances in color, shade, particle structure, or gloss level.
  7. This warranty does not cover “commercial uses” including, but not limited to use in commercial buildings such as hotels, office, restaurants, retail stores, or apartment complexes.
  8. Unless specified in the product description/manual, this warranty does not cover outdoor usage.
  9. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear such as scratches, dents from pots and pans, cuts and nicks, scuff marks, chipping, or damage from other household items.
  10. This warranty does not cover chemical damages.
  11. This warranty does not cover damages due to bending or curving, milling, or reduced in thickness.
  12. This warranty does not cover any alteration of factory finish.
  13. This warranty does not cover additional modifications associated from other 3rd party works/materials such as plumbing, electrical, tile or wall surface necessary to repair or to replace the Karamaystone® product under this limited warranty; such other repairs and modifications shall be the responsibility of the customer.
  14. This warranty is transferable only if the original registered owner had properly updated all required information to the new owner online at Karamay’s warranty registration successfully.

Karamay Oster International Corporation is not responsible for damage or injury caused in whole or in part by acts of God, job site conditions, architectural and/or engineering design, structural movement, acts of vandalism or accidents.

In no event shall Karamay Oster International Corporation be liable in either contract or tort for any loss of direct, indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, incidental, or any similar damages, including but not limited to lost profits damages, arising out of the use or the inability to use the products for residential applications covered by this limited warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply.

KARAMAY OSTER INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION MAKES NO ANY OTHER WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO KARAMAYSTONE QUARTZ LINE OF PRODUCTS FOR RESIDENTIAL USE, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE WITHIN THE UNITED STATES. THIS IS THE ONLY WARRANTY OFFERED BY KARAMAY OSTER INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION FOR RESIDENTIAL APPLICATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES. NO ONE OTHER THAN KARAMAY OSTER INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY WARRANTY OR PROMISE WITH RESPECT TO KARAMAYSTONE®.
